Yuki chan.

Current foster, available for Adoption through the SUPDog Foundation.

Yuki is a two year old ridgeback mix, a Hawaiian Poi dog who was found missing an eye in the Pineapple fields near the North Shore of Oahu. She has scars on her face and neck which leads us to believe that she was used as a hunting dog, and then suffered an injury to her eye and got lost up in the fields. She was found in the heat of summer 2024, and her Rescuer contacted SUPDog for assistance. We brought her into our home and provided her with proper medical care from Wahiawa Vet. Her eye has since healed, and her joyful spirit remains following lots of love from the SUPDog Wolfpack. She loves to swim and play chase, and she is available for adoption through the SUPDog Foundation. For more images and videos of Yuki, please visit SUPDogFoundation on Instagram.

“Diamond” from Kaaawa K9 Rescue

(Adopted)

Diamond was lying down in the ash on site of Kaaawa K9 rescued center on May 11th 2022 when Tyler went to help cleaning up their site. He decided to take her home as foster. She was 3months old Poidog puppy. She became great little sister to all our SUPDog crews! She is the most happiest and friendly pup we ever seen, love humans and doggies! We trained her as SUP Dog and she’s also good at hunting. After 7 months fostering, She is adopted by SUP Dog Hawaii on Dec 2022!

“Felix” from Hope For Dogs Rescue

(Adopted)

I first saw Felix on Hope For Dogs Facebook page, where they spoke of his need for a foster home and a lot of exercise. *Lightbulb* (We specialize is exercise). His photo had a big smile, and I simply knew he’d be a joy to have around. Boy was I right! Felix arrived at the SUPDog Home one day later, and he was ecstatic to meet us. He had a wonderful hug, even though he seemed to be a bit overweight. He kindly let us clip his super long nails, and securely found a spot to sleep right next to our bed. The next day, we took him to the beach and went through a series of training exercises. Our goal was to get him swimming and SUPing regularly prior to finding his new forever home! Felix did not disappoint, he quickly adapted to his new ocean environment, and even learned how to surf! When his new family came knocking, Felix had lost three pounds. He was feeling great! He was always happy with us, but towards the end of our journey together, his energy levels skyrocketed. Thank you Hope for Dogs Rescue for the opportunity to work with Felix, he brought a lot of joy to our hearts.

“Honey” from Hope for Dogs Rescue (Adopted)

Honey is a 4 year old Chinese Shar-pei mix that came from a homeless camp in Waianae. She was rescued by Hope for Dogs Rescue and went to two different foster homes before coming to us on Sept 28th 2020. As our first foster dog, we were very surprised at how loving she was with everyone and everything! She was so excited to be with us she literally wouldn’t sit down. The next morning after we got her, we took her paddle boarding out to the Mokes for her first SUPDog lesson (Pictured). Such a joy. She had a few training quirks, but nothing a regular routine and loving family couldn’t fix. Honey spent five days with us and found her forever home on October 2nd, 2020.

The Poi Puppies from The Hawaii Dog Foundation (Adopted)

Chip, Dale and Jake came to us late one Friday evening with an extensive amount of care needed. They had fleas, ticks, and worms and still manage to melt our hearts. With the exceptional guidance of the Hawaii Dog Foundation, we manage raising these little love bugs back to health over the period of a month, until they were ready for adoption. We consider this fostering to be both a success, and a foster fail. As one of the puppies, “Jake” has now been adopted into the SUPDog Ohana and renamed “Poke”.
