SUP Instructor: Phoenix

Phoenix, our OG SUPDog, was rescued as a stray puppy in the Arizona desert in 2017.

Phoenix is a.k.a “PhiPhi” or “Phi.” She grew up on the road exploring the sights, sounds and people of the USA. Some of her favorite activities include tennis balls, swimming, and SUPing. Through her love for fetch, she developed a love for the ocean. Phoenix is awesome at retrieving a ball from the water. She was barely 2 months old when she first stood on a surfboard, and by the age of 2 years, she was a pro surfer.

Phoenix started SUPDog with Tyler and Machi, and was the inspiration for the business. Today, you can find her managing Blue Planet Haleiwa as the resident shop dog, or assisting her crew on SUPDog Experiences and Lessons.
